Google Wave the lazy way

Rather than post an excited rant about Google Wave, the upcoming communication system to end all communication systems, and what it could mean for us, I’m just going to link to the excellent rundown on Mashable:

Read and anticipate. If you find that even halfway interesting, be sure to check out their other Wave posts as linked to at the end.

I don’t usually get worked up about these kinds of things, but this one does excite in ways I can’t easily describe…..

It’s only about 15 years since I sent my first email - rate of progress, how quickly things are changing, blah blah, cliche cliche - but it’s true!

I learned recently that in around 1910, at the height of the postcard sending craze, there used to be 6 local postal deliveries a day. So you could send a postcard in the morning telling someone you’d be round for tea and they’d have received it and cooked up a batch of scones by lunchtime. Edwardian version of texting? E-Text?!
