University of Northampton Archive

Welcome to the Online Catalogue of The University of Northampton

The online catalogue is currently under development but includes details of special collection records held by the University, for example 'The Angela Reeves Collection' of graphics and design ephemera. The University archive also holds records of the University and its predecessor organisations including the Northampton Technical College, Northampton School of Art and Northampton College of Education.

Using the Archive

General Use of the Search Box

• The search engine will look for records containing every term entered into the box.

Search by Phrase

• To find a specific form of words use double quotes around your search query. For example "Chermayeff and Geismar" will find all exact phrase matches.

Narrow Your Search Results

• If you use a minus sign before a term then that term will be omitted from a search results. For example 'bass -fish' finds bass guitars but not bass fishing.
• You can also browse by collection title, subject, name, or classification using the tabs at the top of this page.
